We have lice in our house. Double, super gross. The kids and I have them; my dear husband does not (probably because he has 1/4 of an inch of hair on his head). We are feeling very primate-like, poking around on one another's scalps looking for critters. Iewwwww to the nth degree.
I am not running today, or tomorrow - family in town whom I haven't seen in a long time. I'm planning on 6 miles for Saturday.
Back to many loads of hot-water laundry.....

Another Monday
My motivation is flagging, big time. I know I have to "just do it" but once I stop "just doing it" for a day or two, it's hard to get back on track.
I'm working on it. Only 10 weeks until the Leaf Peepers half, so I'd better find some motivation somewhere, huh?

Still Running...
...just not blogging about it. Speedwork on Sunday - four quarter-miles on the TM in 2:18 or less - not shabby! Esp. considering I could have done 2 more, except real life intervened.
I did 4 miles today...I'm trying to get back into the 10-week plan for the half marathon, since I have 11 weeks to go and haven't run more than 6 miles at a stretch since the last half I did. Oops.

More Miles
I've been running, just not posting. I've kind of lost the desire to write down every piece of data. Weird, huh?
Eleven miles since July 10. It should be more like 20, but I blew off the long run this past weekend. This coming weekend is the beer festival in Burlington so I doubt I'll be getting in a long run then! But I'm going to try to run tomorrow and Friday, and do something on Sunday besides lie around.

Halfway Through
We're halfway through the year...hard to believe. The days fly by now that the weather is warm, the strawberries are ripe and you can go outside without layering up.
3.1 today in 10:44 - that's tempo pace without me really intending it. Kind of cool.
Mile 1: 10:37, 143 bpm
Mile 2: 11:03, 152 bpm
Mile 3: 10:45, 158 bpm
Mi 0.1: 8:34, 166 bpm
Overall was 33:16, 151 bpm, 755 cal.
