I did 3.5 miles yesterday on a glorious day - sunny, breezy, great for running. Then last night I got that telltale scratchiness in my throat that tells me some sort of virus is moving in (or already has). I'm not surprised -- nearly 2.5 hours of running can wear down the body, making it more vulnerable to getting sick. I was just kind of hoping I'd avoided that.
I'm taking today off and hoping that I feel better tomorrow - I would love to do an easy 4-miler and then a long-ish run on Sunday (6-8 miles depending on the weather).
